Cover states this to be the "Dunfermline Edition"; rear cover advertises the Scottish town of Dunfermline, including the three golf courses available there, the Pitreavie course laid out by Dr. Mackenzie of Leeds. Very scarce Dunfermline Edition. Two stains and a crease to front cover. Several page corner creased, contents show signs of wear but complete and without owner name, underlining, notations or tears. Uncommon. Covers protected in mylar. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

First section deals with the set-up, second section covers the various strokes, and the third section treats the golfing temperament. Scarce unclipped dust jacket in light green with silver lettering and rear advertisement in silver, soiled along upper edge, 1" x 2" loss at top of spine, protected in mylar. Previous bookseller's stamp upon front pastedown. All pages have a very light halo of discolouration and the odd patch of foxing, yet this book is in fair condition. Dust wrapper has some heavy creasing at the edges, along with some decent chips. Small sections missing at the tail of back cover. Spine and covers rubbed. Head and tail of spine sunned, thumbed and discoloured. Edges and corners are showing some moderate wear and tear.
