Co-écrit par le journaliste François de Closets et l'expert informatique et enseignant au CNAM Bruno Lussato L'Imposture informatique s'appuie entre autres sur une thèse fameuse : le monopole de "Wintel" ? soit Wi…ndows pour les systèmes d'exploitation et Intel pour les processeurs ? aurait été préjudiciable au développement de la micro-informatique. Les auteurs plaident pour une conjuration alliée parfois à la bêtise technocratique. Le résultat : une micro-informatique chère lourde difficile d'accès peu fiable rapidement obsolète etc. Pour les auteurs qui retracent l'histoire de l'informatique et donnent leurs avis d'experts ou de simple quidam l'avenir passera par le Netbook petit ordinateur nomade fonctionnant avec une carte mémoire. Son avènement mettrait fin au scandale planétaire. Le débutant pourra au moins s'instruire sur l'histoire de l'informatique mais le connaisseur risque de s'agacer des approximations et du manque de rigueur de l'enquête. Concernant la stratégie de domination industrielle de Microsoft nous conseillerons plutôt : Le Hold Up planétaire de Roberto di Cosmo et Dominique Nora un ouvrage bien informé et toujours d'actualité. Pour une critique des techniques et médias associés : Le Culte de l'Internet de Philippe Breton nous alerte avec intelligence sur les dérives technologiques et leurs discours. --Francis Mizio.
