Men hans eftermäle överskuggas av ett idémässigt vägval. Här skildras för första gången Eric von Rosen (1879-1948), hans komplexa person och inflytande som etnograf, fotograf, samlare, kulturmecenat, godsägare och naturvurmare - samt hans sympatier för 1930-talets Hitlertyskland och den nära relationen till svågern Hermann Göring.
