Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good+. 1st Edition. Very rare history of Eigth Corps operations from Normandy to the Rhine. 172pp.,maps, frontispiece, folding survey maps in endpocket. Very good condition in chipped, still useful coloured dustwrapper. He returned to England and commanded a full Corps from 1944 until the wars end. Copies of this book are exceptionally rare, and to find one in a dustwrapper with the ultimate inscription from Sir Richard, the Corps Commander, who himself had a larger than life story to tell, makes it unique. Signed Inscription from Genera.…
