The spine is a little faded with some edge rubbing and reading creasing. There is a little creasing at the top corners of both novels but otherwise only light edge and surface wear to the covers. Browning to the page edges which are a little uneven - binding quite secure however. Name in pen at the top of the title page of the Colton novel and the first page of the Edgley novel.
