Untrimmed in a fine full brown morocco binding in 18th century style with richly gilt ornamentation on spine and blindtooled and gilt ornamentation on boards. With the gilt insignia of the Copenhagen Bookbinders' Guild on front board and inscription on behalf of the guild on back board. In somewhat edgeworn, matching slipcase. A splendid copy!
