The book provides daily readings (roughly one per day for a year) that are short, meditative, and spiritually enriching.PROVENANCE: This book is from the library of Calvin Thielman, pastor for over thirty years to Billy Graham and his family. His library bookplate is affixed to the front pastedown and his personal stamp and signature is on the front flyleaf. His signature is also present on the front flytitle page.ABOUT THIS COPY: Bound in a brownish burgundy cloth with a gilt seal on the cover and gilt lettering on the spine. Unpaginated, but each devotion is numbered 1-366. Dust jacket is a bronze-ish gold with the same seal in white as on the book cover and black lettering. A portrait of John Calvin in his study is present on the back cover in dark red.CONDITION: Moderate external wear with some soiling, particularly on the spine. Leaves have lightly toned. Hinges are strong and the binding is sound. Dust jacket is VG with chipping along the edges and an open tear at the head of the spine. The spine has sunned. A very solid copy.
