Leaves slightly age toned. Underground music magazine founded by Pete Frame in 1969. Kris Needs became editor in 1977 and shifted the emphasis to punk bands. First issue with a new printer and some text hastily handwritten. Articles on Penetration, Lurkers, Andy Mackay, Nico, the Flamin' Groovies in rehearsal, second part of an interview with Patti Smith, Needs' skeptical interview with Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, record reviews and ads. Housed in a clear archival sleeve with acid free backing.
