Er wurde am 23. August 1608 zu Neuß im Kölnischen geboren, trat mit 21 Jahren in die Gesellschaft Jesu, lehrte in verschiedenen Collegien die Humaniora und die Philosophie, wurde 1648 für die Mission in Indien bestimmt und reiste nach Spanien, wo er bereits im Begriffe war, sich einzuschiffen, als unvermuthete Hindernisse dazwischen traten. Nun wurde er zu St. Sebastian zwei Jahre als Lehrer der Rhetorik, dann einige Zeit als französischer Prediger zu Köln, 1652 als Vorsteher des Collegiums zu St. Goar, endlich als Gesandtschaftsprediger in Kopenhagen verwendet. Als er jedoch durch seinen Nordstern die nordischen Völker einlud, zur katholischen Kirche zurückzukehren, wurde er 1673 aus Dänemark ausgewiesen und kehrte nach Köln zurück, wo er nach langer Krankheit am 29. Januar 1676 starb. Er schrieb: Luscinia concionum, 1647; Pretiosum a vili seu exterminatio doctrinae Luthericae contra Ursinum sectarium, 1665; Prophetia apocalyptica S.
