The company also provides research and manufacturing services for remotely operated surveillance aircraft, including the Predator drones; airborne sensors; and advanced electric, electronic, wireless, and laser technologies. National Ignition Facility (NIF) ignition target specifications require submicron dimensional measurement accuracy for the spherical ablator shell, which requires the proper corrections of various distortions induced by the imaging lens, the point projection geometry, and x-ray refraction. The procedures we developed allow measurement accuracies of 0.5 m for the capsule diameter, ±0.2 m for the out-of-round (which is the amplitude of the radius variations), ±0.3 fan for the wall thickness (including each sub-layer), and ±0.1 m for wall thickness profile. The company also provides research and manufacturing services for remotely operated surveillance aircraft, including the Predator drones; airborne sensors; and advanced electric, electronic, wireless, and laser technologies. n ablator shell fabrication, trace elements and impurities are introduced in the deposition and the pyrolysis process, which must be controlled below a critical level. However, it is the opacity, not the individual elements, which matters in an Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) implosion. Radiography measures the opacity, allowing the accurate determination of the total impurity effect in a lump sum. Furthermore, by using the sputter target trace element information, we can determine the radial profile of oxygen to ±0.4 at. %. Oxygen is very difficult to measure by any other method, but is critically important for beryllium process development such as mandrel removal. To ensure measurement accuracy, we use a local standard to remove fluctuation in film developing and a step wedge to calibrate the film model. Taiwan's constitutional court, on the whole, does not refuse to involve itself in political questions, but this case represented an opportunity for the Justices of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to introduce the political question doctrine into Taiwan's legal system. The Judicial Yuan's previous and subsequent judicial reviews included cases in which the constitutional court dismissed the authoritarian congress for democratisation or struck down an unconstitutional constitutional amendment.It is therefore doubtful that the Justices would claim to be unable to determine the political question in Judicial Yuan Interpretation No.328 [1993]. The court had by then become too powerful to persuade people that it should address the political question doctrine. The Justices applied the political question doctrine in this case only because they wished to avoid becoming mired in political controversy.

However, it has raised the question of whether China really is so different. In the field of constitutionalism, Sun Yat-Sen was the first Chinese politician who embraced Chinese characteristics and constructed the world's first theory of democracy with 'Chinese characteristics' in the early twentieth century. His theory thus enlightens us on the question of whether China really is so different.Sun Yat-Sen's theory of democracy consists of three notable 'Chinese characteristics' - the pentapartite separation of powers system, direct democracy with an institutional arrangement of representation, and the constitutional single party system. However, all of these 'Chinese characteristics' are rooted in Sun Yat-Sen's misunderstanding of 'Western' democracy. It is even more troubling that the incompetent amendments made by Sun Yat-Sen, who was a physician, not only failed to democratise China, but also produced a permanent dictatorship in China. In addition, his allegation that China is different from the rest of the world is not substantiated by logic - any amendment which is based upon a misunderstanding of the original concept is logically false, regardless of who is the originator of the amendment.

The core of this research project focusses on the Council of Grand Justices of the Judicial Yuan, and the ability of these fifteen Justices to impose their collective will upon other branches of government through judicial decisions that sometimes override executive actions and legislative acts.The power of constitutional judicial review has de jure rested exclusively with the Judicial Yuan under Article 78 of the 1947 Constitution of the Republic of China, and the constitutional text places no limitations on the use of such judicial power. On a de facto basis, however, the power of the Judicial Yuan has varied considerably since 1947, setting an interesting research puzzle and inspiring the research questions of this thesis: What are the shifting limitations of judicial power When do Justices review with deference and what encourages judicial assertiveness In engaging with these questions, this thesis reconceptualises and contextualises Taiwan's institutional arrangements for constitutional review through strategic accounts of judicial decision-making and the examination of the role of judicial audiences.

His theory thus enlightens us on the question of whether China really is so different.Sun Yat-Sen¿s theory of democracy consists of three notable ¿Chinese characteristics¿ ¿ the pentapartite separation of powers system, direct democracy with an institutional arrangement of representation, and the constitutional single party system. However, all of these ¿Chinese characteristics¿ are rooted in Sun Yat-Sen¿s misunderstanding of ¿Western¿ democracy. It is even more troubling that the incompetent amendments made by Sun Yat-Sen, who was a physician, not only failed to democratise China, but also produced a permanent dictatorship in China.
