The last chapter focuses on whether we will rest in heaven, what we are called to do after the "First Resurrection," how we interpret and what we can expect in New JerusalemEven though the author is a Methodist missionary, he is not beholden to any particular theology other than the core of the Good News and Wesleyan focus on Prevenient Grace, free will and sanctification. It is hoped that the book will be particularly helpful to those who wish to get involved in a lifelong missional activity and who would like to make a difference in this world because this is how they understand the Good News of the Kingdom coming near. Throughout the book theological issues are reflected on through the Wesleyan Quadrilateral of Bible, reason, experience and tradition and all effort is made to explain key concepts in ways in which a layman can grasp them.The book is written in a style of an extended talk, in a rather informal language, without notes and references and makes references to key events in church history.
