Herr Doctor haben vor…einigen Jahren im Trautenauer Wochenblatt' ein in seiner Summierung vollständig vernichtendes Urtheil über B. d. P. u. K., über Kastner und sein Schaffen u. Können niedergelegt. Obwohl ich damals - ich bin erst seit 2 Jahren von Kastner geschieden - nur das Kränkende und in seinen Folgen Verhängnisvolle konstatieren musste, war ich doch gezwungen, mir einzugestehen, dass Sie in den meisten und bösesten Punkten Ihrer Ausführung Recht hatten []". - Kastner-Michalitschke besuchte die Lehrerinnenanstalt in Prag, unterrichtete einige Jahre in Reichenberg und heiratete Eduard Fedor Kastner. Seit 1892 lebte sie in Wien, trat dort in Beziehung zu literarischen und künstlerischen Kreisen sowie zur österr. Frauenbewegung und beteiligte sich an der von ihrem Mann herausgegebenen Monatsschrift "Böhmens deutsche Poesie und Kunst". 1909-11 war sie als Redakteurin der Monatsschrift "Wir leben" tätig und schrieb daneben hauptsächlich Lyrik. Später erschienen zahlreiche Erzählungen, Novellen und Feuilletons in Zeitungen, Zeitschriften, Almanachen sowie österr. und deutschen Jahrbüchern. - Mit minimalem Buchstabenverlust durch Lochung.
