He had also previously been an apprentice merchant, a seaman, a farmer, and manager of a mining plantation in California. His life had been marked by innumerable illnesses and accidents. MELVIN KALFUS was Senior Vice President at the Christopher Thomas/ Muller Jordan Weiss advertising agency in New York for over twenty years and is currently doing consulting work for them and other firms in Boca Raton.
