The dust jacket is in fair condition with chipping and wear to the edges, a couple of closable tears. The rear panel which list the titles in the Putnam Sports Series, is spotted and soiled. Despite the stated flaws, it is still a decent dust jacketed copy of a an uncommon baseball history. Published in 1954, the year after the Braves moved from Boston to Milwaukee, this book chronicles the 82-year history of the Braves in Boston (written by Kaese) and of their move to Milwaukee and their "glorious" reception there (written by Lynch) . ; 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
