8vo, [5] pp, letterpress printed in two colors and saddle-stitched in printed wraps. One of a limited edition of 15 copies. Inscribed at the first blank; To Tommy / With Love / From Jonathan & Benedict Elkus. Happy Christmas." A typographically beautiful printing of this Aesop fable, published privately in a minuscule edition by Elizabeth Elkus, wife of the composer Albert Elkus. The Jonathan who has inscribed this book is likely the composer Jonathan Elkus. OCLC locates no holdings. Very good with some minor darkening, minor creasing and a couple nicks to extremities.
