Essays devoted to a genre exist alongside essays devoted to one book, institutions are presented side by side with literary movements, & large surveys appear next to detailed discussions of specific landmarks. No article is limited to the "life & works" of a single author. Single issue from the new series of Oracle newspapers published out of Larkspur (in Marin County) after the origi…nal City of San Francisco Oracle was laid to rest in 1968. It was more focused on spiritual teachings and teachers, although it also had considerable poetry. This issue includes Chet Helms and Family Dog interview, Woodstock announcement and ticket-order form, Ram Das interview. There is a photo spread on the July 27th march to the sea, as well as a ticket form for Woodstock which would occur on August 15th.
