Clean copy with several paper-clip marks on pages, one of which suffered a short tear. 151 pages with silhouette illustrations. Serially published in the Arizona Republic in 1933, the articles were printed in book form for Arizona teachers to use in their classrooms according to the author's wife in the Foreword. She states further that the demand was so great the book went out of print for several years until this edition was published. The original illustrations were done by Rachael Murdock and presumed to be reprinted in this edition as well.

The author of these stories was also a Phoenix KTAR radio personality and first published these stories serially in 1933 for schools to use in educating students about Arizona's history. The twenty-five stories include such characters as Father Kino, Pauline Weaver, Charles D. Poston, Cochise, Charles Trumbull Hayden, Al Sieber, Ed Schieffelin, Nellie Cashman John P. Clum, Geronimo, Bucky O'Neil, General George Crook and many more Arizona historical figures. Scarce Six Guns #1571. Signed by Author(s).
