Small 4to, original red cloth, stamped in gilt & black, bevel edges, binder's ticket of Eeles & Bell of London, upper hinge broken, lower hinge shaken, folding map, frontispiece, [ii], 130pp. AEG. Printed from English sheets. The entirety of illustrations are executed in attractive chromolithography. While not a rare book when carrying the usual London imprint of Bell & Daldy, this New York printing seems thoroughly scarce. WorldCat has the citation while locating not a single accessioned example. For the record, I have taken note of imprints from the UK being offered and sold in the range of several hundred dollars. This, a Good+ copy.
