Text in French and English. Inscribed by Koenig on the title page to art critic Dore Ashton: "for Dore — avec un autre dialogue / John," a playful reference to the dialogue at the center of the publication. American-born Koenig settled in Paris in 1948 and became an important participant in postwar French abstraction, co-founding both Galerie Arnaud and the influential art journal Cimaise.
