Die kolorierten Kupfertafen etwas fleckig bzw. fingerfleckig, teils in der Falzung beschädigt ( außerhalb der Darstellung ). Hier erwarb er sich durch seine vielfältigen Begabungen, seiner Menschenkenntnis und Umgänglichkeit sowie durch seine Vorlesungen großes Ansehen. (Vgl. wikipedia, ADB in der Onlinefassung). Der Verleger Christian Gottlieb Hertel (1683 - 1743) war eigentlich Mathematiker und Professor in Liegnitz und ein Kollege von Ebert.
