Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Three quarter leather covers. Red leather spine with gold lettering and bands which are bright. Red leather corners and spine ends exhibit moderate wear with heavy chipping. 2" tear with chipping and creasing to the upper hinge of the front cover. Smaller tear with chipping to the lower edge of the front cover. Moderate chipping and wear on hinges. Light wear on edges. Moderate shelf wear and soiling to black covers. Inside front hinge is cracked but still attached. Text, inside front and back covers, ffep's and bfep's are yellowed due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Light soiling and yellowing to page ends. It was resolved in the Senate and House of Representatives of Michigan to compile a report detailing the states involvement in the Civil War. 1000 copies went to State officers, boards, Legislature etc. 500 copies for the general publics use. Details the raising of the troops, financial statements, flags of Michigan with very details descriptions of every infantry and cavalry brigade assembled. All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-lib unless stated.
