Quite uncommon account of french 1936 expedition to Karakoram to try Gasherbrum I (aka Hidden Peak, 8068m). Allain, Leininger & Neltner reached about 7069m up SW ridge before stopped by monsoon weather and difficult climbing. M. Ichac filmed two Sherpas flying past in an avalanche on retreat.
