Rilegato. Condition: come nuovo. Dust Jacket Condition: ottimo. prima edizione. Works of art, words and documentary and author images tell the story of the Prague Spring, testifying not only to what happened during 1968 but also to the context and assumptions of the events of that year. The historical facts are amply argued by suggestive reflections that take shape from the photographic testimonies so far little known in Italy of the Czechs Dagmar Hochová and Daniela Sykorová, of the Slovak Ladislav Bielik, while the Italian gaze is in the shots of Mario De Biasi and Rodrigo Pais. Through the different artistic languages, photography, painting, sculpture, poetry, satire and illustration, we retrace the fundamental stages and the cultural context of these tragic events from the liberalisation process of the 60s to the political normalization following the occupation of the country.
