Band , Hatton & Co., Coventry ( solicitors ) , 1931, in-folio, 34 x 22 cm, 24 pp + a frontispiece illustration of the house + a large folding colour lithographic map of the estate ( tipped in at the end). Stapled catalogue, with original printed wrapper. Wrapper soiled… and with trace of use, inside with some notes in pencil. Especially the blank reverse side of the folding map contains many notes in pencil. Loosely inserted are [1] a typescript copy , dated 26th June 1931, from the auctioneers with the reserve prices (the Hall at £ 3000). [2] An original typescript letter from the solicitors to Captain Parlour at Darlington , dated july 11th, 1931 on selling differents lots to the tenants. [3] An original typescript letter from the solicitors to Captain Parlour , dated july 22th, 1931 announcing the results of the auction. ( The house did not sell ! - some farms did). The catalogue comprises 19 lots.
