Vintage French pressbook for the lost 1927 silent film. Two competitive collegiate brothers, Jim and Ralph Treadway (James Hall and Richard Arlen) are both in love with the vivacious Carol Fleming, played by Louise Brooks. Rare. Two years after the release of "Rolled Stockings," frustrated with the middling roles she was receiving in Hollywood, Brooks left for Germany and starred in the three feature films that launched her to international stardom, "Pandora's Box" (1929), "Diary of a Lost Girl" (1929), and "Miss Europe" (1930). 8.75 x 12.5 inches. 6 pages. Very Good. Top edge of front wrapper unevenly cut as issued. Original string binding now missing, faint evidence of a glue repair, pages now separating at the spine. Tiny spot of soil to the front panel. See images.
