Add to basketFirst edition, first printing. Publisher's original beige cloth with titles in red to the upper board and spine. The copy of the Austrian School economist Frank Fetter (1863-1949), with the gift inscription in ink to the front free endpaper: "Frank Whitson Fetter, From Father - Christmas 1939", as well as several pencil annotati…ons by Fetter. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with some minor marking to the spine. The contents with the inscription to Fetter on the front free endpaper and his annotations are otherwise clean throughout. Lacking the dustwrapper. The first edition of the autobiography of John Atkinson Hobson (1858-1940), the English economist and social scientist best known for his theory of underconsumption and his writings on imperialism, which notably influenced Vladimir Lenin. A nice association copy, owned and annotated by fellow economist Frank Fetter. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request. All items are catalogued by humans.
