Heavy shelf wear and soiling on covers. Inside front and back hinges are cracked and separated from the spine. Text and page ends are yellowed due to age. Text is otherwise unmarked. "For Ship… and boat builders, lumber merchants, saw-mill men, farmers and merchants. Being a correct measurement of scantling, boards, plank, cubical contents of square and round timber." All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-library unless explicitly described as such.

Interior relatively clean, excepting endsheets. Boards worn, rubbed, scuffed, and toned with board material showing. Spine rubbed and worn at hinges and ends. Binding loose but intact, with only…a few pages loosely laid in. Toned throughout. Good only. Previous owner rubber stamp and pencil to endsheets with marine biologist James Glen Mead's later ownership (and possum!) bookplate to first pastedown. Housed in custom card chemise case with velcro closure and printed title sticker to spine.
