Contemporary artists from round the world who feature calligraphy and lettering in their work. Introductory essays by Carlo Buffa, Thomas Ingmire (one of the artists featured), Tiziano Santi and Manfredo Massironi. Very nicely printed on Boldonia and Savile Row cream paper. This copy belonged to a British calligrapher who has inscribed his name and place in a fine hand on the front free endpaper. Fine book in Very Good jacket, which has very light rubbing to the edges, in similarly lightly rubbed slipcase. Pictures available.

With a preface by Chief Justice Warren E. Burg…er and an Introduction by the former Librarian of Congress Daniel J. Boorstin. Very fine in full limp vellum with red-dyed vellum ribbons woven through the covers to create red stripes, the titling and stars in blue. Housed in a cloth chemise and matching slipcase, still retaining its original printed glassine wrapping, all still within publisher's cardboard shipping container. An exemplary copy of an elegant publicationâ"one of the more desirable productions of the Press.

This is not a Trakl poem, but rather Thomas Ing-mire's visual interpretation of Georg Trakl's verbal poems. It is Calligraphy and Poetry in collaboration. The blacks, greys, and deep blues explode at the end in a splendor of yellow and orange. Tight, bright, and unmarred. Covers are lettered and painted, ink and watercolor decorated inblacks and blues for the upper cover, reds and yellows for lower, textblock mss, watercolor, and gilt; housed in a black plexiglass case with a clear lid. np. [eleven leaves]. Hand lettered and colored. Signed by the calligrapher/artist.
