Die Vision einer global gerechten Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsordnung jedenfalls wird hier nicht formuliert, es geht um Ängste vor der Wut der Ausgegrenzten & Deklassierten, um die wirtschaftliche Zukunftsfähigkeit Deutschlands, darum, warum "es sich lohnt (sic!), in die Potenziale der vermeintlichen Verlierer zu investieren". Dennoch enthält das Buch durchaus lesenswerte Seiten für Menschen, die vor der Thematik (systematischer Produktion von Ausgrenzung) immer noch die Augen verschliessen, etwa hinsichtlich der "Sortieranstalt Schule", einer besonders nachhaltig wirkenden Lebenschancenverteilungsinstitution.
