Hardcover. Condition: Good. The cover has dark green cloth with goldtone letters. 20 chapters, each with a bib.; 9 color and 1 b/w plate; numerous, in-text, b/w photos and figures; index. About 1/8th of the front board has faded spots that may have been caused by dampness. The back board and spine strip are less thus. The text block ends have darkened. Two inches of the foredge is speckled with stains; the bottom end is less thus. Over half of the front endpaper has stains. The back endpaper has a linear 3 in., light water stain. The pages' bottom margins are wavy and have faint, water stain. Scans e-mailed upon request.

This SCARCE 404 pp. indexed book is a very thorough treatment of the Title subject, being illustrated with 342 engravings and 10 colored plates, interspersed throughout. A very early book on Plastic Surgery. Very clean other than light foxing just inside the front board and just inside the rear. A Doctor's name stamp is similarly just inside the front and just inside the rear. Otherwise unmarked.
