There is wear at the bottom of the spine and at some corners. This Place Called Kansas is not a "history" in the accepted sense of the word. Rather, it is a collection of highly entertaining and revealing anecdotes which are representative of the social and cultural pattern of the state. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. Dj is not price-clipped. There is some writing in pencil on the inside of the front dust flap, a date and a couple of check marks. There is some corner and light edgewear on the dj. A nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed.
