The book is a collection of pithy sayings by Howe, who was known for his quick wit, especially in his editorials. the book has an Introduction penned by his son J. E. Howe (also a newspaperman), Corra Harris (Likely the best known newspaperwoman of her day), and N. P. Webb. The book consists of a collection of pithy quotations from Edgar W. Howe, many of them taken from his editorials. This is one of the scarcer title in the Little Blue Book series. SERIES : Little Blue Books ( No. 1734 ) TITLE : The Indignations of E. W. There is an old price written in red on the front cover, as well as a minute ink mark near the bottom at the fore-edge. Else the exterior is clean. Binding is solid. Interior paper is quite toned. No writing or marking.
