Selten besteht die Möglichkeit, innerhalb eines Schulgebäudes für einen Überraschungseffekt oder ein Staunen zu sorgen, denn Filme und Bilder zu Themen des Unterrichts zu erhalten erfordert meist nur einen Suchbegriff und ein paar Klicks mit der Maus des Computers. Dies stellt Lehrerinnen und Lehrer vor eine große Herausforderung, sind doch gerade diese Effekte so förderlich für ihren Unterricht. Aus diesem Grund ist es notwendig, Medien zu verwenden, die Schülerinnen und Schüler nicht eigenständig substituieren können, wie zum Beispiel einen außerschulischen Lernort. Denn erinnert man sich an die eigene Schulzeit, so sind es doch gerade Ausflüge und Exkursionen, die einem in guter Erinnerung geblieben sind. Will man verstehen, warum die Effektivität eines Lernorts außerhalb des Schulgebäudes so groß ist, so ist die Betrachtung des motivationalen Aspekts erforderlich. Dazu wird im Rahmen dieser Arbeit zunächst die Selbstbestimmungstheorie nach Deci & Ryan betrachtet. Mit Einbezug der psychologischen Basisbedürfnisse und der unterschiedlichen Arten von Motivation soll sich der Thematik aus theoretischer Sicht genähert und eine Basis für die Interpretation des Schülerinterviews gelegt werden. Wie die Motivation der Exkursionsteilnehmer beobachtet werden kann, soll durch die genaue Aufschlüsselung des Fragenkatalogs aus dem Interview ermittelt werden. Im Anschluss daran soll explizit auf das Konstrukt des außerschulischen Lernens eingegangen werden. Nach theoretischer Betrachtung des gemeinen außerschulischen Lernortes soll dann die Besonderheit der Gedenkstätte, die diesen Beobachtungen zugrunde liegt hervorgehoben werden. Es handelt sich bei dem von mir gewählten Lernort um die Gedenkstätte des Konzentrationslagers Buchenwald in der Nähe von Weimar. Es soll überprüft werden, ob die teilweise auftretenden emotionalen Belastungen einer solchen Gedenkstätte einen Einfluss auf die Lernmotivation der Schülerinnen und Schüler hat. Des Weiteren kann zum Vergleich des Lernverhaltens auf persönliche Erfahrungen mit der Klasse im Regelunterricht zurückgegriffen werden. Abschließend werden die Ergebnisse ausgewertet und ein Fazit zur Eignung einer solchen Gedenkstätte als außerschulischer Lernort gezogen.

November 538 oder…539 in Clermont geboren und entstammte einer Familie des römischen Senatorenadels. Bedingt durch seine Abstammung war er, wie zuvor schon einige Verwandte, für ein hohes Amt qualifiziert. Zu diesen zählte beispielsweise sein Onkel Gallus, der das Amt des Bischofs von Clermont inne hatte. Eben dieser nahm sich, nach dem frühen Tod seines Bruders Florentius, seines Neffen Georgius an. In den Jahren von 548 bis 551, in dem Gallus am 14. Mai starb hielten sich Gregor und seine Mutter viele Male in Clermont auf, wo er des Öfteren in Kontakt zu seinem Onkel trat. Zu dieser Zeit litt Gregor unter einer schweren Magenerkrankung. Er gelobte in den Klerikerstand einzutreten, sollte er nach seiner Pilgerfahrt an das Grab des hl. Illidius geheilt werden. Entgegen der eigentlichen Familienplanung, in der Gregor zur Weiterführung des Geschlechts vorgesehen war, verschrieb er sich der Kirche und begann seine Ausbildung bei Avitus in Clermont. Während einer zweiten schweren Erkrankung im Jahre 563, von der er sich keine Heilung versprach, pilgerte Gregor an das Grab des hl. Martin. Auf der Rückreise wurde seinem Gefährten in einer Vision aufgetragen, die von ihm mitgenommene Reliquie an den Diakon Gregor ('Gregorio diacono' VM I 355) zu überreichen. Für die folgenden zehn Jahre bis zu seiner Erhebung zum Bischof von Tours gibt es kaum Informationen über die Tätigkeiten Gregors. Schließlich empfing er im Jahr 573 die Weihe zum Bischof.

Dabei erfolgen eine Einordnung, sowie ein kurzer Vergleich der Quellen. Diesem Abschnitt schließt sich ein Kapitelan, in dem der Propagandakrieg zwischen Octavian und Antonius im Speziellen behandelt wird.Zunächst werden einige Schlüsselereignisse betrachtet, die die propagandistischen Konflikte ab dem Jahr 41 vor Christus einleiteten. Im Rahmen dieses Abschnitts soll auch die Rolle von Kleopatra VII. näher untersucht werden. Daraufhin folgt eine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit der Eskalation des Propagandakrieges ab 34 vor Christus bis hin zur Kriegserklärung an Kleopatra durch Octavian. Innerhalb dieser Jahre lässt sich der Einfluss der Propaganda auf Politik und Bevölkerung besonders präzise darstellen. Auch dabei wird die Rolle der Kleopatra noch einmal zum Tragen kommen.Abschließend soll dann eine Antwort auf die Frage gefunden werden, warum Octavian die taktische Entscheidung traf, im Vorfeld einer militärischen Auseinandersetzung auf den Einsatz von gezielten Propagandaattacken zu setzen, um so seinen Gegner hinsichtlich seines Ansehens innerhalb der römischen Gesellschaft zu schwächen.
