Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Fair condition hard cover, some wear to cover and spine, foxing to pages, previous owner inscription to inside page, otherwise in a good readable condition.

Cloth. Condition: Good. Brown cloth with gilt flowers, near fine at center front, gilt gone on spine, 104 heavy photo paper pages, profusely illustrated with photos of Norway, some in color. Very slight wear to inner front hinge. Covers slightly worn overall. A gift to those on Norwegian America cruise line, with stamped ink signature on early end paper. Good.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Not dated. Thought to be mid 1950s. Edition and printing not known. In very good light tan thick leather covered boards, gilt flower design to front and gilt titles to spine. The boards are very tight and flat; spine slightly sunned. The spine ends and edges are very firm. White end papers; the ones at the front have thin band of light tanning around the edges. The text block is illustrated with many black and white photos and a few in colour. The pages are glossy and very firmly attached, even and clean. No dedications etc. Near fine condition and overall condition of boards and pages is very good plus. Without jacket. Heavy. Please contact us for cost of postage if shipping outside the UK.

Tan calf with beige/green/maroon striped boards and gilt title on spine. Very slight wear to corners and head/tail of spine. Plain beige textured dust jacket shows darkening, 4" tear to spine. Plain cardboard slipcase shows darkening and a 3/8" tear.

No date of publication indicated, but probably 1953 based on a flap blurb for another book by the publisher. Original light blue cloth with gilt decoration front cover, gilt lettering spine. The book is in nice condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, clean, no foxing, tight binding. The original dust jacket has rubbing on both front and rear panels, edge rubbing with small loss in places, small edge tears. First page after the FFEP is a printed presentation from Norwegian American Line cruise ship company with the verso of this page showing two photos of the ship in Norway waters. Every copy of the book that I have encountered has had this page. The page appears to be a cancel (ie, inserted and glued into the book). The book measures 261mm tall x 210mm, and has 104 pages, many b/w & color photos. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.

Includes a map showing the major rivers for trout and salmon fishing, and the main districts for reindeer. Thirty-one pages of text by Per Hohle, then the main body of the book consists of b&w photographs, largely by Ragnar Frislid. Frontispiece photograph of H.R.H. Crown Prince Harald with his first salmon, caught in 1953. Includes catch statistics up to 1958. .
