The inscription is to Barbara Cloud, longtime journalism professor and specialist in journalism history at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Before joining UNLV, Cloud was a reporter at newspapers in Oregon and Idaho, a freelance journalist in Los Angeles, and a public relations consultant. Cloud published several books, served as president of the American Journalism History Association and received several awards for her work. Very Good condition but for two tears to the edge of the cover which have been mended with clear tape. Pages are clean and unmarked. Illustrated with maps and many b/w portraits.
