Book has modest rubbing to covers with prominent aging scuffs and several smudges, a light gap between top area binding and spine cover, moderate wear to edges and corners. in good condition due to cosmetic/aging wear, otherwise binding is intact with no missing pages, unmarked text and pictures.

There are several indentations on the front cover. The fore-edges of the covers have abraded areas. Light shelf wear on the corners and spine caps. Several areas of erasures on the ffe. Endpapers in the color yellow. Small notation in pencil on front paste-down and one light tan smudge on the title page. Otherwise, the book is clean, tight and unmarked. Filled with lovely illustrations in color by the Danish painter Hedvig Collin. Unpaginated. Printed in Germany.

Wear/small cereases to spine-ends, light wear to boards' corners. Page-edges lightly yellowed, bright colour frontispiece, B&W drawings. Binding a little strained at page 192 (minor, of no concern). Pages are very clean and in nice condition.
