Soft cover. Condition: Good. Hand written manuscript in German language. I am reliably informed that the style and form of the manuscript is in the contemporary nineteenth century format. The Author of the manuscript is most likely the German philosopher Hans Altmüller (possibly the son of Carl Altmüller, who translated Robinson… Crusoe in 1868). The text deals with philosophical topics, on the miracle of life. 18 pages of text in a notebook. A rough translation for the first page is as follows: "About the Miracle of Possibility. The decipherment of meaning and notion, reason and purpose in the disorder of life is the main activity of the thinking mind. He can do this only then, when he pauses in view of the necessity. Either in respect of reason and order or in respect of separateness across time and space: Law and ." Both front and rear cover detached. Blue covers with title label to the front cover. Approximately 8 inches or 20.5cm tall. Condition Report Externally Spine poor condition thin spine of a notebook split with both covers detached. Joints poor condition split with both covers detached. Corners good condition bumped and worn. Boards good condition detached but in good condition with paper label to the front cover.
