Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. John Leech (illustrator). Charming book with bright, fresh looking decorative cloth boards and equestrian motifs on the front and spine. A little rubbed and knocked at the extremities but nothing at all severe. In fact the book is remarkably well preserved. No inscriptions and the pages are clean and bright throughout. The prelim pages and the page block edges are somewhat toned as is often the case with books of this age. The top page block edge looks a little raggy where it was clearly left partially untrimmed on publication. In all this is a very presentable copy.
