Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Green cloth covers with silver lettering on spine. Covers exhibit moderate wear and bumping on corners and spine ends. Spine is heavily sunned. Moderate sunning, soiling and bumping to upper and lower edges. Sunning to the upper edge of the back cover. Light shelf wear and soiling to covers. Ex-lib with usual markings. Reprint from the 1928 first edition. Illustrated with many b&w photos. Text is clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. The contents are divided into sections on tribes specific to that area. Written by experts on those tribes. Chapters on the Ovambo, the Berg Damara, the Bushmen of South West Africa, the Nama and the Herero. All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-library unless explicitly described as such.
