In der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit dieser Position, u.a. anhand der… Handlungstheorie Rüdiger Bittners zeigt sich, dass eine Begründung von Moralregeln ohne eine Antwort auf diese Kritik nicht gelingen kann. Die Aufgabe einer Moralbegründung nach Nietzsche muss die Entwicklung einer nicht-rationalistischen Subjektkonzeption beinhalten. Im konstruktiven Teil der Arbeit wird eine Moralbegründung skizziert, die mehrere innovative Elemente umfasst. Unter Rückgriff auf antike, auf dem Glück des einzelnen basierende Ethiken wird die Wichtigkeit der Zugehörigkeit zu partikularen Gruppen für ein gelungenes Leben systematisch nutzbar gemacht. Moralische Normen beruhen auf Forderungen von Gruppen, mit denen der einzelne sich identifizieren kann. Außerdem wird die Idee einer "Subjekttransformation? entfaltet, d.h. die Möglichkeit einer moralischen Bildung durch Argumente, durch die wir uns sukzessive von bloß eigeninteressierten zu moralisch sensiblen Wesen wandeln können. Am Schluss ist auch der Inhalt der Moral ein anderer: aus statisch gegebenen Regeln wird ein lebendiges System von Bindungen. 189 Seiten, broschiert (Epistemata.
