Ink gift inscription at top left corner of front free endpaper. Interior pages are otherwise bright and clean. A very good copy. Foreword by The Hunt Botanical Library Director George H.M. Lawrence with introductory essays (on pages xiii-lxvi): "L'Heritier de Brutelle, the Man and his Work," by F.A. Stafleu; "The Plants of Sertum Anglicum," by J.S.L. Gilmour, C.J. King and L.H.J. Williams; and the "The Illustrators of Sertum Anglicum" by Wilfrid Blunt. Bibliography on pages xl-xliii with bibliographical references included within "Explanation of Abbreviations" on pages xcii-xcviii.
