A very rare first edition, an excellent author-inscribed copy of Dr Richards' book exploring an eccentric theory related to aetheric waves and their influence on health and disease. A relatively early example of a pseudoscientific theory, albeit one taken seriously and well construct…ed as one might expect from a qualified physician. Includes a 'diagnostic table' for self diagnosing a series of illness, and a plea for sufferers to look beyond conventional methods. Pages are excellent: clean and bright throughout and no markings except the author's inscription on front FEP. Many charts and other illustrations. Binding is excellent. Green boards retain their colour, and spine is really nice. An excellent copy of a rare sought-after edition and a great example of a rare eccentric work.
