Each section features a portrait of a national leader or representative figure together with a scenic view or symbolic national image. Countries represented include Great Britain, Canada, South Africa, India, Australia, New Zealand, United States, U.S.S.R., China, Netherlands, Norway, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Greece, Yugoslavia, France, Belgium, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Bolivia, and Iran, with a table of contents at rear. A period piece of Canadian WWII home-front ephemera, combining patriotic propaganda, commercial promotion, and early "United Nations" usage before the postwar organization fully emerged. Internal evidence suggests publication during the war, likely 1943 or slightly later, with manuscript updates regarding Bolivia and Colombia added after printing. Circa 1943-1944, 20 pp including covers, 6 x 9 inches CONDITION: Fair. Complete, but visibly well-used. Covers and leaves creased and handled, with edge wear, corner creasing, scattered soiling, stains, and a few small marks throughout. Ink scribbling to upper front cover; additional pencil/ink marks and checkmarks to the table of contents; manuscript note on final page. Some rust-like staining and wear at fold/staple area.
