Heute zählt das subjektive Urteil für oder gegen einen Gegenstand, ein Interieur, mehr denn je. Das Nebeneinander hat das Wechselspiel der Moden abgelöst. Endlich sch)ießen sich Tradition und Moderne nicht mehr aus; sie treten sogar zum Gruppenbild an. Mich begeistert diese neue Offenheit, vor Orientierungs)osigkeit habe ich keine Angst. Denn von Anfang an habe ich mich als Kollektionist für die Vie)fa)t von Ku)turen und Epochen eingesetzt. Früher stieß ich noch auf Unverständnis, als ich das pure, naturbelassene Rattan in die westlichen Wohnzimmer ho)te und mit meinen Lacktischen an die fernöst)iche Kontemplation erinnerte. Mittlerweile haben vie)e erkannt, dass gerade die Gegensätze eine Einrichtung 'rund machen' und beleben. Das schlichte, einfache Möbel und Accessoire stand dabei für mich immer im Mitte)punkt. Seine Ausstrahlung ist zeitlos; seine Schönheit braucht keine Erklärung. Diese Überzeugung steht hinter der Kollektion, die ich zusammen mit meiner Frau Anna und mit meinen Freunden entwickle)t habe.
