All photographs SIGNED and dated 1994 by photographer Andrew Brucker on the versos. From the collection of artist and author Duncan Hannah. Duncan Hannah was a key figure in the burgeoning New York underground arts scene, befriending Andy Warhol and his superstars, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Salvador Dali, and many others. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, his paintings were exhibited in the influential 1980 Times Square Show alongside work by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and several of his paintings are held in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Gretchen Mol is best known today for her recurring role on the 2010-2014 HBO television series "Boardwalk Empire," for her starring role in the 2005 film "The Notorious Bettie Page," and as a character actor in films such as "Donnie Brasco" (1997), "The Shape of Things" (2003), "3:10 to Yuma" (2007), and "Manchester by the Sea" (2016). 8 x 10 inches. Working copy belonging to director and producer Neil LaBute, annotated throughout, bound in a three-ring binder with numerous production documents, including handwritten shot sequences, color photos, contact sheets, shooting and post-production schedules, and location and vendor lists. Laid in with the binder are three borderless wardrobe test photographs of actor Paul Rudd in costume, an additional white set of revision pages, a manuscript shot breakdown in LaBute's hand, and three xerographically duplicated images of Rudd with a prosthetic neck. Laid into the front of the binder is a full-page newspaper advertisement for LaBute's play. Based on the 2001 play written by LaBute. A pitch-black comedy about a frumpy literature major whose personality and appearance begins to change as he is wooed by a beautiful graduate art student. Title page present, dated December 12, 2001, with credit for LaBute. 134 leaves, with last page of text numbered 112.
