Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. 1942 reprint of 1941 original. Former owner's pastedown label on front endpaper. 272 b & w illustrations with accompanying descriptive captions. From the authors' Preface: "The electrocardiograms in this book have been assembled as the result of the need made apparent through our teaching experience. Heretofore, we have found it necessary in our courses to supplement the several good textbooks on electrocardiography with many additional tracings including a comprehensive series of "test" electrocardiograms. The latter have been distributed to the classes for study without comment and then discussed in the light of pertinent facts in the case history. Essentially the same idea is followed in the present volume: In the first half there are arranged in order 142 electrocardiograms illustrating normal variations, the several disorders of rhythm, and the etiologic types of heart disease; in the second half 130 electrocardiograms are presented in a heterogeneous fashion for practice in interpretation, the notes relating to any particular case being on the preceding page." 319 pages. NOTE: Due to size and weight of book significant additonal shipping cost will be required for out-of-U.S. shipment. GB3.
