Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Softcover without dust jacket. Minimal wear to edges. Pages clean and unmarked with many illustrations. This book is a catalog for the Weaving Tradition: Carol Cassidy and Woven Silks of Laos, an exhibition of historic textiles and contemporary pieces, focusing on the work of Carol Cassidy. In time of rapidly disappearing craft heritage, it is gratifying to encounter people who have dedicated their lives to preserving and reinvigoration craft traditions. Carol Cassidy is an outstanding example.

Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Apparent First Edition (NAP). Flat-signed by the artist, Carol Cassidy, on the half-title page. You can see the covers in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. They are pretty much free of any wear. There's a tiny crinkle at the top edge of the spine. The page edges are very clean. The book is square and very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The interior of the book is in excellent condition. The pages are exceptionally clean. I scrolled through them several times without finding any soiling. There's only a bit of the expected light toning at the margins of these glossy pages. I'm not seeing any creasing. There are no markings. No attachments. And with the exception of the artist's signature, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. Signed by Author(s).
