Our knowledge concerning the Cyprian Albinaria species is summarized. Five endemic species, one of which with two subspecies, are reported from the island. A possible sixth species was not available for study. Treated taxa: Albinaria rollei, Albinaria virgo, Albinaria saxatilis saxatilis, Albinaria saxatilis avia, Albinaria greeni n. sp., Albinaria mavromoustakisi 8 pp., 13 figs, gr. 8.

Turanena katerinae from western Crete is described as new to science. Actually it is the westernmost Turanena spcies known. 3 pp., 5 figs, gr. 8.

Albinaria ietswaarti spec. nov. and A. supercarinata spec. nov. are described from southern Turkey. The two species occur allopatrically within a single UTM 10 km square, but are only distantly related. 4 pp., 8 figs, gr. 8.

Two new Albinaria species, viz. Albinaria ulrikae n. sp. and Albinaria violacea n. sp. (consisting of the nominal form and the subspecies Albinaria violacea dextrogyra n. ssp.) and three new subspecies of Albinaria hippolyti (Boettger, 1878), viz. Albinaria hippolyti hieronymi n. ssp., Albinaria hippolyti francisci n. ssp. and Albinaria hippolyti neuteboomi n. ssp. are described. The new taxa were discovered in central Crete while thoroughly revising the complex Albinaria fauna of that part of the island. 12 pp., 14 figs, gr. 8.

Indisputable Chondrinidae, Granariinae species, characterized by shell shape and apertural dentition, are known from Eocene deposits to the Recent. The generic classification of the extant species is based on conchological, anatomical and molecular data that are available now for most of the known species, including 'Granaria' persica as a representative of the once problematic group of so-called eastern Granaria species. According to molecular and anatomical characters, these eastern species have to be classified with Granopupa granum in Granopupa. Graniberia gen. n. is introduced for G. braunii on the basis of molecular and conchological data. For the pre-Pleistocene species, two generic names are equally well available now, viz. Granopupa and Granaria. Shell characters only do not enable a decision here. For the sake of nomenclatorial stability we propose to use Granaria for these species. Because both molecular and anatomical data most likely will never be known for the fossils, it will remain unclear whether the combined extant and extinct Granaria species form a monophyletic group. New taxon: Graniberia n. gen. 11 pp., 4 figs, gr. 8.

The generic name Inchoatia is validated by the designation of a type species and three mistakes are corrected. 2 pp., gr. 8.

Three species with small, narrowly perforate, zonitid shells, are reported from the Promontorio del Gargano, Italy. Two of these are problematic Vitrea species. Here, the third one is provisionally described as a Lindbergia species, L. garganoensis spec. nov., because of the general shape of the shell and the microsculpture of the teleoconch whorls. That genus is hitherto known from Greece only. New taxon: Lindbergia garganoensis n. sp. 3 pp., 8 figs, gr. 8.

Three nomenclatorial corrections, as a sequel to Gittenberger & Menkhorst (1991, 1993), are executed. Because of junior homonymy, Buliminus (B.) corpulentus is replaced by B. (B.) corpulentior nom. nov. Pene coluplicatus and Turanena yusufelensis are now considered junior synonyms of P. brunneus and T. andronakii, respectively. 2 pp., gr. 8.

Albinaria evelynae spec. nov. is described from the Peloponnese and classified next to A. grayana as its sister species on the basis of autapomorphies in shell shape and sculpture. Doing so, one more example is given of two conchologically very similar species, with a G-type and an N-type clausilial apparatus, respectively. Obviously, the clausilial apparatus cannot be used to distinguish the genera Isabellaria and Albinaria. In the former genus only the G-type occurs, whereas in the latter, both G- (rarely) and N-types are found. This has nomenclatorial consequences, which are summarized. 6 pp., 3 figs, gr. 8.

The authorship and dates of publication of Lepton subtrigonum and Lepton lacerum are determined and new distributional data for the former species are added. 2 pp., gr. 8.

Tsoukatosia liae gen. et spec. nov. is described from the Peloponnisos, Greece. This subterraneous species belongs to the Serrulininae, a poorly known subfamily of the Clausiliidae, far more widespread in the Tertiary than in recent times. The Serrulininae are represented in Greece by four more species, all of which known from only a single locality, 300 and 425 km far away, in Ipiros and Makedhonia, respectively, and all but one after only one or a few empty shells.
