Zeitungen in Dresden und Coburg. Seit 1863 lebte er in Berlin, wo ihn 1866 eine Gemütskrankheit befiel, die seine Überführung in die Heilanstalt zu Leubus erforderte. Von seinen Werken ist wohl nur noch der Zeitroman "Moderne Titanen" (1850) in Erinnerung geblieben, der zum Vergleich mit Gutzkows "Rittern vom Geist" und Spielhagens "Problematische Naturen" herausforderte.".
