Published by Basil Blackwell in 1948.In the publisher's original green cloth, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. The author's signed inscription, containing a line of verse, to the front free end paper.FÅ«rin is the translation of the Japanese word for wind chime, and is often seen as a symbol of relaxation. In this particular collection of verse, containing over one hundred poems, Dixey publishes poetry written across his life and inspired by his personal experiences, including poems on World War I and Oxford, where he was a teacher at Dragon School. In the publisher's original green cloth, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with minimal signs of shelf wear and marks to boards.
